Colorado Criminal Defense Lawyer

Recent DNA discoveries make painfully clear something Colorado criminal defense lawyers have known forever--that innocent persons can be convicted of criminal charges for crimes they did not commit. In recent years, reports of such miscarriages of justice have been forthcoming, which involve persons released from lengthy prison sentences--even death row--following convictions for crimes they did not commit. Such scenarios are the nightmares which make the Colorado criminal defense lawyer sit straight up in bed, in the middle of the night.

Upon my discharge from military service, where I served a tour of duty in Viet Nam, I enrolled in college and graduated from the University of Colorado. Thereafter, from the University of Colorado School of Law. I am a member of the National College of Criminal Defense Lawyers and have served as chairman of the Colorado Chapter of the National Layer's Guild. In my 30 years, plus, in the private practice of law, I have defended persons charged with offenses ranging from first Degree Murder to Sexual Assault Upon a Child; Bank Robbery to major drug cases--both in the State and Federal Courts. I don't have a magic wand and I don't make promises I can't keep. One promise I will make, however, is that I will devote my years of experience and training to any case I take on, to insure the best possible result--at a reasonable price. Know your rights and protect them!!! Thanks.
